BRADY CAMPAIGN TO PREVENT GUN VIOLENCE
The Brady Campaign works to create a safer America for all of by leading on policy and programs that aim to dramatically reduce the number of gun deaths and injuries.
COALITION TO STOP GUN VIOLENCE
Founded in 1974, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence–including religious organizations, child welfare advocates, public health professionals, and social justice organizations–seek to secure freedom from gun violence through research, strategic engagement and effective policy advocacy.
DOCTORS FOR AMERICA
Doctors for America is a national movement of physicians and medical students working together to improve the health of the nation and to ensure that everyone has access to affordable, high quality health care. With its gun prevention program, they are educating the public on the gun violence crisis in the US.
KIDS OF THE BLOCK, INC. (KOB)
Founded by community activist Diane Diane Latiker in 2003, KOB provide at-risk, low-income youth positive alternatives to gangs, drugs, truancy, violence, and the juvenile justice system in order to curb youth violence in Chicago.
MAYORS AGAINST ILLEGAL GUNS
A coalition of more than 2 million mayors, moms, cops, teachers, survivors, gun owners, and everyday Americans who have come together to make their own communities safer.
MOMS DEMAND ACTION FOR GUN SENSE IN AMERICA
Founded by stay-at-home mom Shannon Watts on December 15, 2012 in response to the devastating shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the organization is a leading force for gun violence prevention, with chapters in all 50 states and a powerful grassroots network of moms that has successfully effected change at the local, state and national level.
STATES UNITED TO PREVENT GUN VIOLENCE
A national non-profit organization made up of 150,000 grassroots supporters in 27 states dedicated to making our families and communities safer, its mission is to support state-based gun violence prevention organizations and to bring new partners into the movement.
